After about two months of work, it’s here and ready for the general public. We’re extremely excited for what this new site will allow – from the updated store to the media section – and we hope you enjoy using it as much as we enjoyed making it.

Other new features include an automatically updating “Upcoming Events” widget, visible on the sidebar, and an updated members page, complete with cool sliding transitions.

Hello everyone,

The mass meeting for Summacappella will then be rescheduled for Thursday (5/6) at 5 pm at the top floor of the union outside the UACC office. It won’t take long at all. We’ll grab everyone’s uniqnames and hopefully hash out a rehearsal schedule.

If you are interested but cannot attend this meeting please email me back at bilee5858@gmail.com with Summacappella as a title. That email will also be used as a general contact for any Summacappella questions you may have.

Its that time of year again – time to show the Lyres your talent.

Auditions will be held on September 8th and 9th, the day after A Cappella Rush. The time will vary, depending on when you sign up for a slot, but the auditions will begin at 5:00PM each day and they will be held in the League, 3rd floor, Room A. Come see us, and the other fantastic a cappella groups on campus perform!

You will not only get a chance to see everyone sing, but will also have time to meet and interact with all the members in the groups as well. This is a perfect time to sign up for auditions with the Lyres, and also functions as a good way to give us a good impression – show us your social/fun side AND that you care about a cappella at the same time.

The event will be held on Tuesday, September 7th, at 7:00 PM in the Michigan Union. See you there!
